Exclusive wine tastings in South Tyrol
The culture of sustainable viticulture
From Botzen to Trent the stage is nine leagues, and runs through a valley which constantly increases in fertility.
J. W. von Goethe
South Tyrol is enjoyment. South Tyrol is holiday.
South Tyrol is a land of wine, shaped by unique locations between mountain and valley, characterised by the Alpine-Mediterranean climate. So what could be more natural than bringing the two together?
As early as 1598, today's Teutschhaus was mentioned as an inn with a wine shop, making it one of the oldest inns in the Unterland region. After the end of the First World War, the wine trade was discontinued, but the winery and inn continued to operate. Since then, the Teutsch family has dedicated itself to the culture of sustainable winegrowing and offers guided tastings of its own wines.
Fine wines are stored in the wine cellar and fruit and wine are offered for tasting. In our restaurant, too, we mainly use local products, which lend authenticity to every dish.
