How to reach us in Kurtinig on the Wine Road

The characteristic village of Kurtinig on the South Tyrolean Wine Road is located in the heart of the Etschtal Valley at 212 metres above sea level. Just a 10-minute drive from the motorway exits Neumarkt-Tramin and San Michele all'Adige, it is the second smallest municipality in South Tyrol and the penultimate municipality to the Trentino region. The picturesque village and the unique and very idyllic surroundings are a good reason to spend a holiday here. The Hotel Teutschhaus is located directly on the ‘most beautiful village square south of Bozen’.

The Dolomites, Trentino and Lake Garda are practically on our doorstep: The location is therefore ideal for exciting day trips in all directions.

Make your arrival and departure an experience. If you have a little more time available, it's worth travelling to and from the region via one of the numerous mountain passes, apart from the Brenner Pass of course: How about a tour over the Stilfserjoch, Reschenpass, Timmelsjoch, Jaufenpass, Penserjoch, Staller Sattel or a ‘leaner’ over one or other of the Dolomite passes?

The spacious, stone-paved village square with the lovingly restored old draw well and the Gothic St Martin's Church invites you to linger. There are 11 biotopes in the municipality, where the original flora and fauna find space to live and survive. Around Kurting you will find extensive vineyards and orchards. A visit during the blossoming of the apple trees in spring or the grape harvest in autumn is therefore very interesting and highly recommended.

You can go on various hikes through the surrounding orchards and vineyards, along the Dürerweg trail, on the Mendelkamm ridge or in the unspoilt Trudner Horn Nature Park.
